Mother's Day

My Crazy Brother

For some reason my crazy brother decided to climb a tree and I just happened to have my camera...he was much higher than this (I just wasn't quick enough).

Rain Rain go away.........

Try to get the pictures without getting the camera wet....my little sister sang at the rain for about ten minutes trying to make it stop, so cute!! Looks like no walk for my puppy and I this evening...well off to work have a great day!

Baseball Games and Birthdays......the siblings

This afternoon I went and watched the little brother (who is actually the oldest boy) play some baseball against Fertile....they loooked a little sluggish and lost 5-8

Here are a few of what I though were better pictures but obviously I still need a little practice on my sports taking skills....and that new lens with a better zoom. One thing that will be much better about football is....no fences.....it's so hard to get a good shot when there is that darn fence in the way and not many places to go.

A New Hobby

I got a new camera and figured just for fun I'd start taking random pictures. Now that I'm out of school I need a hobby (I tried cross stitching...yeah didn't work out still not done). I'm kind of thankful my sister and her friend lost my point and shoot at a party (they still owe me $$) because then I took the plunge and found a sweet deal on a digital SLR. It's actually quite ironic I had a canon megazoom all picked out and ordered and just happened to pick a scammer website that tried to sell me and bunch of over priced accessories and when I said no they put my ?deal? on backorder. So I canceled that order and did a little more research (yeah I like to over research and read reviews before I buy anything) and found that the cheapest (and most highly recommended) digital SLR camera. So now I've been reading random website and just taking pictures and seeing what I get. The one above is about seven in the morning (yeah not usually a morning person) I just happened to be awake and it looked gorgeous outside so out my camera and I went, I found myself laying in the grass and wandering all over the yard snapping pictures. Wonder what my parents or sibling would have though had they looked out the window.

This picture is from a little later in the day (I work nights) I was in search of a sign that spring was really here besides the fact that the snow was melted and I was wearing a sweatshirt (not a warm winter jacket). It took awhile but I finally found some little buds over on the lilac bushes....I was so excited.

I like this one too, I'll have to take more pictures when the leave are on the trees.

More laying in the grass....not sure which of these pictures I like better? That's my mom and dad's house....home sweet home.
